About Julie Bauke

I call myself The Chief Career Happiness Officer of The Bauke Group. I am as serious about your Career Happiness as I am my own — and I am deadly serious about mine. I started The Bauke Group after a lifetime of believing that I had not an entrepreneurial bone in my body. I got tired, after too many years in corporate America, of being around the startlingly large number of people who were miserable at work, and had no clue how to fix it. I knew that I had to find that “entrepreneurial bone” and do something about it! In my business, my singular focus is giving you the tools, resources, and inspiration to Define, Get, and Own your Career Happiness, regardless of where you are in your career lifecycle or your life.

The Leadership and Management of YOU

I am not sure our numbering system goes high enough to count the numbers of blog posts, books and articles that have been written to help you improve your leadership and management skills. There are apparently quite a few of you really screwing it up.   I’m much more interested in how you are doing [...]

I’m Going to Leadercast 2016 and So Should You. Here’s Why.

Guest post by Christopher Sopko: “The Pyramid of Business Success- and My Career”

Julie's Note: I am always curious about what inspires someone to actually sit down and write a book. Everyone says that they will, but so few do. I have found that one of the primary motivators is that one believes he has something to say that simply must be shared. Rarely is it a "get [...]

Be Happier at Work: Three Things to Do at Your Next Performance Review

Guest post by Sean Conrad Every day I work with organizations who are trying to improve their employee performance management process. On the employees' part, it's often because they don't like being judged (who would!); they often complain that they [...]

Hey Ladies! What’s Your “Career Mountain?”

My theory is that every wildly successful woman is standing on a mountain of crap. And by crap I mean disappointments, failures, bad days, missteps, miscues, tears, and days or weeks when you were sure that you were going to be living in your car. It is so easy when we look at someone [...]
