Julie-Bauke-Career-CoachI call myself The Chief Career Happiness Officer of The Bauke Group.  I am  as serious about your Career Happiness as I am my own — and I am deadly serious about mine.

I started The Bauke Group after a lifetime of believing that I had not an entrepreneurial bone in my body.  I got tired, after too many years in corporate America, of being around the startlingly large number of people who were miserable at work, and had no clue how to fix it. I knew that I had to find that “entrepreneurial bone” and do something about it!

In my business, my singular focus is giving you the tools, resources, and inspiration to Define, Get, and Own your Career Happiness, regardless of where you are in your career lifecycle or your life.

I love to speak to groups about Career Happiness.  I have been told countless times that I am a dynamic, humorous, and engaging speaker and facilitator who speaks about careers and jobs in a way that no one else does. What makes me “skip to the shower” every morning is the privilege of working with individuals and groups, or creating content or programs that will move the Career Happiness needle in practical, actionable ways.

In my career, I have had Human Resources leadership roles with companies in a variety of industries.  I also have significant experience in career management services. Furthermore, I have worked closely with individuals with diverse backgrounds, from CEO’s to professional athletes, coaching them in pursuit of their best “career life.” I am on the Board of Directors of Bad Girl Ventures, a micro-lending nonprofit for women entrepreneurs.

I am a proud graduate of Purdue University (Go Boilers!)  and live in Cincinnati, Ohio with as many dogs as I can convince my husband we can handle. My two sons are in college, so not quite off the payroll but I can see it from here.

You can find me as the Careers and Jobs Expert on Cincinnati’s Fox19 TV (Raycom Media), 700WLW Radio (Clear Channel), and as the host of “Get Career Happy with Julie Bauke” on IHeart radio. I am the author of “Stop Peeing On Your Shoes: Avoiding the 7 Mistakes that Screw Up your Job Search.” You can purchase it here.
